It has a significant difference in both countries.

 

Power distance:  in power distance India’s score is 77 in the hierarchy. So it proves that boss of the organization hold all decision making power. So communication is to down and real power is centralized. On the other hand USA score is 40 and power distance is less and it distributing equally. This affect on subway business as well to run the business. 

 

Masculinity:  According to the Hofstede the male runs Indian society and all maximum decision are taken by male but in USA it all are equal.  To going out for eating and spending money are mostly decided by male person in India. It has big affect on the business in both countries.

 

 Traditional roles and religious culturally issues: In both country subway has to consider religious issues regarding Halal food, Vegan and traditional habit That’s why in India menu is accordingly the area by considering vegetarian food, different meat accordingly religion, halal food, sea food etc.  Most of the people are Hindu and they don’t eat beef so Vegetarian and lamb are using for them. On the other hand in USA everywhere is same because maximum people are eating beef, lamb or bacon minor number of people consider the halal issues. So subway put area based Halal subway, which is good sign to capture all customer .
